Water Bills for Non-Metered Accounts in Chicago Now Monthly

Effective Immediately

The City of Chicago recently changed to a monthly water billing cycle for non-metered accounts, which were previously billed biannually. This change has affected balance information used to obtain water certifications for these properties. The City may reflect a $0 balance due if the most recent bill has been paid and may not account for water usage from the date of the last billing. Due to this change, the buyers' first bill is likely to include usage prior to their closing/certification date.

ATG Agents: We recommend you review the billing history for your clients' accounts and consider prorating for usage based on billing dates. If you have questions, please Contact Us [Subject: Chicago Water Bills]. We appreciate your business and value your feedback.
