Real Estate Transactions in Cook County, Illinois

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) renewed and expanded its Geographic Targeting Orders (GTO) requiring title insurance companies to identify the natural persons behind shell companies used in non-financed purchases of residential real estate. The renewal continues to include Cook County among the counties and metropolitan areas in the renewed GTO.
