Changes to the Invoice for Title Charges
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

ATTN: Chicago-Area Members

In an effort to provide clearer information to the consumer, Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATG), has made a change to the Invoice for Title Charges BO and NBO Chicago Area, adding the following paragraph:

Certain transactions require that additional services be provided by ATG. Additional fees may be charged by ATG for providing such services. Services for which additional fees may apply include, but are not limited to, the following: Delivery/Handling, Courier Services, Tax Payments, Title Indemnities, E-mailing packages and receipt of e-mailed packages, Wiring Funds, Certificate of Compliance (Cook County), Certificate of Exemption (Cook County), Chain of Title, Water and Zoning Certifications, etc. A list of common service fees can be found on ATG Form #4058-A: Rates for Additional Charges and Agency Closing Fees (Chicago Area) - see ATG Rate Cards.

When you print the invoice from REsource, a new "Suggested Rates for Additional Charges and Agency Closing Fees - Chicago Area" will print along with the invoice and should be included when you send the invoice to the lender and buyer or buyer's attorney.
