Wire fraud schemes targeting real estate transactions continue to increase in frequency and scope. Fraudsters attempt to divert sellers' proceeds and buyers' incoming funds by intercepting emails, changing the content of the email and the wire instructions in the email attachments, and redirecting funds. Consumers have lost hundreds of millions of dollars. We won't let it happen to your clients.

To eliminate this threat, we partnered with CertifID, an industry leader in wire fraud prevention. Starting October 1, 2021, closings conducted through our Champaign office will include the CertifID process.

Transfer Funds with Confidence: How it Works

Beginning October 1, 2021, your seller clients will upload wire information through our secure process:

1. Seller's attorney schedules closing.
2. ATG sends instructions to seller with a copy to seller's attorney.
3. Seller visits wire.atgf.com and securely uploads wire instructions.
4. CertifID contacts seller to verify identity and authenticate wire instructions.
5. Seller authorizes ATG to transfer funds.
